Charleston's IROC Swim Program Extended

Thanks to Linda and Bruno Studer, children in the Charleston Community are able to access IROC programming free for a year. This year, Charleston Elementary School will be funding transportation to and from IROC on the following dates below. Parents will be responsible for picking their children up at the school at 5:30.

Charleston’s Spirit Week / Cancer Coin Drive

Monday, May 4^th – Friday, May 8^th

This is our third spirit week of the school year. Congratulations to the 3rd & 4th graders who won first place last semester. We will be crowning a new champ during an end of the day celebration on Monday, May 11th. Classes earn points by the amount of students participating in the spirit day dress-up as well as the amount of money brought in by students. The money raised will be given to the American Cancer Society. On Tuesday, May 5th, during gym class students will be participating in a mini Relay for Life walk-a-thon.

Monday: Wacky Hair Day

Tuesday: Beach Day

Wednesday: Celebrity Day

Thursday: Mismatch Day (Wear clothing items that do not match)

Friday: Multi-Color Day (Wear as many different colors as possible).

Grandparents’ Day & Senior Breakfast!

To celebrate the building of positive relationships

between the students and their grandparents and/or senior mentors.

(This is a service learning project created by the students in Grade 4.)

Time: 7:30-8:30 AM

Free to all seniors!

Please assist your child in contacting a grandparent, elder family member or Charleston senior to attend this free breakfast being held at the Charleston Elementary School.
